Who We Are
Leech Lake is a beautiful 112,000-acre freshwater lake located in Cass County, Minn. The third largest lake in Minnesota, it boasts 200 miles of shoreline and excellent fishing and recreational activities.
The mission of the Leech Lake Association is to be good stewards of Leech Lake and its environs, recognizing the vulnerability of the lake, and the need for citizens - individually and collectively -- to assume responsibility for its care. We promote shoreline preservation efforts, conservation of the fisheries, and care for the quality of our lake waters. Our membership consists of area residents, resort-owners, businesses, and all who care about this natural resource. |
All are welcome at LLA Board Meetings are held on the third Monday of each month May - October at 9:30 a.m. at the Cass County Courthouse.
Annual Meeting this year: Thursday, August 6 from 5-8 p.m. at the Chase-on-the Lake Resort in Walker. Watch for more information.
